Deeper

Time to say good bye to vacation. It's been different but still a nice break. My calendar is already pretty booked over the next few weeks. I feel like I'm starting fresh, like a new year and have already made some resolutions (which I don't normally do). But lately I've been feeling like a prodigal being called home, called deeper. To go further beneath the surface of God's favour into his bounty. I sense him pacing on the porch with the porch light on, waiting, wanting and watching for me. Restless, wringing hands until the silhouette of his daughter appears on the horizon.

I've been sidetracked but he's been patient.
I'm coming home....I'm going deeper....and I can't wait for the reunion!
