The fam and I returned home from ministry practice camp at Pine Lake yesterday afternoon. It was a very refreshing break away and besides the cold wet weather and lack of coats, we had a great time. The kids did make friends and we did too. It was also good to reconnect with some old friends from college.
I enjoyed not having to cook and clean and I loved the balance between childcare and family time. A relaxed structure works so well for us.
That's it for us and our travels. Back to normal life..almost...only 19 more days 'til school starts.
We are having another BBQ on Sunday. So much to do, so little time. Yikes my garden is embarrassing, I need to make it look a little less scary but don't really know how.
Next weekend is the big day, Peter and Amanda's wedding. I haven't been to wedding in a long time. I hope they have good weather.
Well time to get moving on this day, lots to do. I can't believe it is mid August and only 6 degrees!
I would like to learn a new language, I have always wanted to be bilingual.......I'll add it to my ever growing check list, for now it's laundry, sunday prep, BBQ prep and pay some bills.
Audios, Ciao, Au Revoir.......hmmm which language should I choose?
PS: yes I know I have probably spelled all these wrong but I am not bilingual yet and spell check is in english so there!

Leslie, it was good to meet you, Steve and the kids, to put some "flesh" on the blogging words and images. Your Thursday morning session was a highlight of the camp for me. Blessings
