Just so you Know...

I am really quite amazed at how popular blogging has become. In fact, there are so many bloggers now that it is hard to keep up with everyone, time just doesn't allow it.

When I do have a few spare moments, I will check beyond my 'short list'. In my travels I have noticed that there are different characteristics of blogs. Some are political, others religious, some humorous, some deep and others not so deep. These differences are a combination of the type of person the blogger is and the purpose of their blog.

So...as it relates to me I just want to make something clear. I am well aware of the tragedy in the world. I am not apathetic towards the natural disasters that happen or the issues of poverty, famine and diseases. They live in my conscience and prey on my heart. More often then not, I just choose not to use my blog to discuss them.

My blog is personal. I use it as a journal really and allow those who are interested to get a glimpse of me.

Leslie- I love your blog. Mine is personal too. A journal of what is going on in my life. They are many things I choose not to blog about too.

That's what being a blogger is all about. You make it what you want it to be. I find a lot of thoughtfulness in your "personal" posts and enjoying reading them.

Well said Leslie! I too don't like getting into much of today's current events...except for my own personal events. :-)
