60 years ago, my papa went overseas as a Canadian soldier to fight in WWII. While there he met a young dutch girl who was victimised from living among war activity. Her and her family were mal-nourished and starving. This young soldier used to sneak food to her from his supply. Within 5 weeks they fell in love and got married and he brought her back to Canada with him. You two have been a pillar in my life and a shining example of love and commitment! I love you both.

Wow! What a beautiful story! How did they do it back then? 5 weeks and then married for 60 years!?! Beautiful story - so glad you could go celebrate with the fam!
