Well, yesterday we left the roost for the first time since Christmas morning (other than the family walks we've been going on in the evenings). Guess where we went? That's right...the malll! (gasp!)

The kids received "Build-A-Bear" gift cards for Christmas and were ready to go outfit their bears and maybe even create new ones!

Wow! it was so busy. When we were finished at the bear worksop (which is always busy every day of the year. Whoever invented the idea is a creative and rich genius!) Steve took them for a hot chocolate while I ducked into a store (only one). I couldn't resist-everything was 50%-75% off and I still had a bit of Christmas money left.

So, even after reading a post on consumerism and boxing day shoppers, the sting wore off when I got a $50 pair of pants for $9.49 in a matter of minutes! Not too shabby! We high-tailed it out of there and came home to play Disney Scene it again.

Not sure what today will hold. The laundry and house cleaning beckons me but I'm not feelin' it!

we hit the mall too last week, and build a bear, it was nuts in there, so we left without getting anything.
