Making me smile...

Just before the kids came home from school today I took Rocky for a walk. I have an awful habbit of looking at every house I pass hoping to get a glimpse of the inside. I love to see how it is laid out, what the furniture is like and how it is decorated. I will be really embarrassed when someone catches me looking some day. :)

So, walking along one particular house, I look up at the big picture window above the garage. The blinds were wide open and I could see the the back of the couch against the window. A broad smile spread across my face when I saw the piles of laundry stacked on the back of the couch. What a relief to know I am not the only one. I wonder how long it has been there, how often they have pulled clothes from the piles before putting them away, ha!

When the boys came home from school, they did their routine dumping of coats and backpacks on the floor, looking for something to eat. As I was getting their fresh baked brownies, Jacob went to the washroom. A moment later he called out to me, "Mom, this toilet smells like PARADISE.....what did you do...clean???? :) (believe it or not, I do that once ina while).

Cracks me up!! Our laundry pile is on our couch at this very moment waiting for our 'maid' to fold it! Ha! we will be waiting an awful long time.... I guess I'll have to deal with it sooner or later. I wish someone would notice when I clean! Lucky you!
