Crazy

Today starts the first of five days off for the kids. Not sure what we'll do yet. Winter has finally arrived. It's cold. I shouldn't have said anything.

Joel has been home all week with the flu. When I had to pack up and come home on Monday, he never went back. In the middle of the night last night while crying on the toilet he said, "I hate sick, I never want to be sick again."

I finally finished up the budget, and was quite proud of myself. I saved it. Then I saved it on the flash drive. Then went to Staples to print it off and send it in mail. When I got home I noticed that the forms were blank! Nothing saved like I thought they did. Panic, frustration and three kids encompassed me while did it all over again!

A parting quote:

"Those who dance appear insane to those who cannot hear the music."
~ Mark Kleiman.

The world of faith is freakish, unpredictable and insane really. According to society, it is crazy to give more than you receive. It is crazy to measure success in life by relationships instead of material. It is crazy to judge ourselves by global standards instead of ridiculously wealthy North American standards. (adapted from Len Sweet's "Jesus Drives me Crazy")

Jesus brought crazy.

Let's go crazy!!

Speaking of crazy - there is a silver car sitting right in front of our house and no one inside is moving. I hope they're not here to see me because I am not even dressed yet...haha!

GO CRAZY! Stay in your pajamas a while!

A budget for our church for the new fiscal year.

Thankfully my mom is a professional tax preparer and does mine every year!
