Live it Up!

This morning was moms and tots for Julia and I at the community centre. It is currently one of the best things going right now to connect our church and community. This is only the first step and I expect to see more and more as we continue to netwrok with other community programs.

I must say, I really enjoy it. That is quite possibly an understatement. I love it! I am so encouraged each week as more and more moms come and join in the fellowship. We see new faces all the time. I do feel a little bit out of touch now that my kids are getting so big (sniff...pause...sigh...okay over it!) but still it is awesome. So many moms are looking for fellowship and looking to get out of the house. So many people are new to the city and community and looking for friends. And, over the past few months I can see it happen. Informal and unstructured, people are making friends with each other and it is beautiful, not only to witness but to experience as well.
