Love Week

As you know, valentine's day is coming. A day which to me is highly over-rated and just another opportunity to rip off the average north American. Who needs a designated day to show love, attention and affection? It should be a regular occurance I think. Anyway not the point.

Although not a fan of the day I've got no problem with love, attention, affection or romance ;)

Until valentine's day, the Calgary Sun will "be tugging at those heart strings each day with stories of love and relationships."

Todays feature: The 10 Best romantic vacation spots. Here they are without the blurb of a reason...

10. Montreal
9. San Fransico
8. Havana
7. Banff/ Lake Louise
6. Niagra Falls
5. Venice
4. Greece
3. New York City
2. California Wine Country
and the number one romantic vacation spot in the world........PARIS! duh

I found it interesting that out of all the places in the world they narrowed it down to these ten. Also found it interesting that 3 of them were in Canada.

And, out of all ten, we've been to 4 already with coincidental plans for number 5 in the near future! Yay!

So there is your useless infornmation for today, 'cause we all know that romance is not found in a place.

Lake Louise, that place has been on my list for a few years now, but I never pegged it a romantic.

Surreal is a bit more qualifying.

TGIF.

Ohhh... I love travel! We've been to 5 (#'s 10, 7, 6, 3, and 1) - not sure where the California wine district is - so don't know if our wanderings there count.

One of my favourite places ever was Chartres - a little town outside of Paris. If you go - check it out!
