Not Feeling It

I feel very 'Blah' today. A part of me wants to blog about all that has been going on in "Leslieville" these days, and part of me couldn't be bothered.

A friend of mine is hurting, that makes me sad.

I took Rocky for a long walk this morning. He needed to burn off some energy and I needed to gain some. I also needed the fresh air, and sunshine.

I can't believe it is Thursday already. I haven't had time to unwind from a busy weekend yet, I feel like my week should just be starting. This has been a 'people' week which is great and what I love to do even though it is no less busy. Now, I have to focus on all of the tasks still waiting for me.

Joel's first season of hockey is coming to a close. He is playing four games this week in a tournament. He plays tonight. We are all going to cheer him on. I can't wait. I don't get to see him play very often. We are heading to Edmonton for a weekend tournament to end his season at the end of this month. Any of you Edmonton folk who would like to hang out with us at the arena and watch little tykes hockey, let me know and I'll send you the details.

Jacob has been enjoying his drums this week and was proud to tell his instuctor that he finally got a kit. He usually practices while I'm making supper. His beat is so good, I can't believe it is actually him playing it. I am amazed.

Julia is preparing for her dance recital. It is actually a competition against other dance groups. Kowing me, I will bawl the whole time she is on stage.

My little munckins have been so pleasant this week I think I'll make green shamrock cookies for them as a surprise...sometime before the end of tomorrow.

You're in my prayers. I have been feeling pretty blah as well. Hang in there...maybe once spring arrives we'll feel better? Maybe we're all lacking that vitamin D the sun provides?!?!

Have a good one, Leslie!
