Women

Some of you may remember this song....
"Woman!
Wo -man.
Wooooooo----man!"

We are definitely an interesting breed that is for sure. Very complex and perhaps only understood in our purest form by those of the same species (ie. wo-man). Ehem...other than our creator of course!

I just spent the weekend with several hundred woman from across Canada. Well, not true, Ontario and west. Still, lots of women. I like to people watch and observe. And, while observing these women all weekend, one thing that definitely stood out in an obvious way was the importance of image and appearance. Beautiful clothes, trendy shoes, impressive hair 'designs', make-up, accessories, the whole works! Hot. Hot. Hot.

Whoever makes a career out of marketing the 'image' for women will be successful and rich, no doubt.

Oh the pressure! Think about it. Women have to 'appear' a certain way at all times. There is no escape. They build and protect the image to seek approval from the opposite sex, the media standards and (as if that wasn't bad enough) their own peers.

Just an observation.
