Okay, well not quite famous, and not quite Kate Hudson...but I was almost on TV yesterday (sort of)! It would have been my first on-screen debut. I was excited and terrified at the same time. I had the opportunity to be in front of a microphone and camera (yay) but I had zero make-up on (boo) so you could see where the fear would stem from.
Anyway, I was walking Rocky yesterday and taking my usual route, had to pass by the school in my neighbourhood. As I was approaching I noticed the CTV news cruiser parked in front with the reporter standing...waiting for someone to walk by. Oh me oh my, that someone was me! I pulled in the leash in anticipation that rocky would jump on her expensive suit, and tried to hold him steady. She stopped me. "Oh no" I thought, "I'm not ready" and then, "what is going on?"
She went on to ask me, "are you a parent with a child in this school?"
I wasn't. I was of no use to her. She went back in her van. I kept going.
And there went my one opportunity. I had the huge sunglasses and everything!

HAHA! That's so funny! I hope it was sunny out - but then again, you didn't get on the news after anyway. Too bad. You will have your 15 minutes of fame one day!
Leslie,
I will be back in Calgary on Wednesday for Easter:) Is SM having a Good Friday service?
Awwww, that's too bad...but there's always next time!
Nav,
Yes, 10 am!
Awww......so close! They could've just put you on for looking so fashionable and Nicole Richie with the shades, ya know?!?! I was on TV once, local TV, when I went to a blood donor clinic. Morbid, but interesting. All I kept thinking was thank god I didn't have kiddie boogers or toothpaste drivvles all over me!
Duh, that's supposed to be "toothpaste Dribbles"
LOL!
