Sampling I mean.
We've all been to a supermarket or Bulk Barn and have been among the many bins filled to the brim with colourful assortments of EVERYTHING good. Mmm Mmm. It is like being in Candy Land! bubble gum, chocolate, gummies, lollipops and so much more!
The temptation to 'sample' is overwhelming. The other day while in Superstore, we caught a man trying to be discreet while sampling on Lindt chocolate eggs. When he saw us, he put them back, pretending to be browsing. Then, once we passed, we was stuffing his pockets!
But hey, who am I to judge? I mean really, who among us has never had a little sample here and there? C'mon now, be honest! Not that I stuff my pockets or even sample from the bins, but I certainly have dipped into the bag of almost purchased goods over the years!
Tsk tsk and shame on me!
Sampler? yes or no.

We have a tendancy to buy a lot of items from the bulk bins at the grocery store because they are cheaper. Well, Jeremy hates it when I sample ONE measley cheerio (or something) to see if I like it. I mean, don't you want to know what you're buying before you get it?
As for the samples at Costco, Jeremy likes to get them but I don't. Am I the theif of the family?
Mmmmm.... I think putting them in your pocket is stealing!
I don't smaple things but I do open things I buy 'before I pay for it 'sometimes - if I can't wait! LOL I tell the cashier "Umm, sorry I opened this..."

I have been known to sample once or twice over the years.
I can honestly say that I am not a sampler. I have opened something for Patrick to chew on while shopping when he was little,but it was packaged and I was able to pay for it with the package. As far as bulk items, nope, not a sampler.
I love visiting Sam's Club (kind of like Cosco). They always have ladies out with food samples...so it's great to go over there during lunch! :-)
i once saw a friend sample just a few m&m's from the bulk section and, to be honest, i lost a bit of respect for him. for the record, i didn't make a scene or even mention it, mostly because i thought it might seem silly and judgemental. the thing is, i almost think that it's worse to cheat in the little things than in the big ones.
I have never sampled, but I do over purchase.

I don't sample.
But, I have sampled in the past.
I can't remember having sampled, but it is possible that I have.
I do know that if you want to try fruit at safeway, all you have to do is ask the produce person...they will be happy to let you taste before you buy.
