Picture Day

Today (between church and small group), was Julia's picture day for ballet. I had to have her in full costume and make-up. It was rather stressful even though she cooperated. I had mascara and eyeliner smudges everywhere trying to apply it to such small eyes that kept squinting and fluttering. She had to wait a bit when we got there because there were dozenss of dance groups waiting for pictures. I was constantly reminding her not to touch her hair (no fly-aways) or her make up. She managed perfectly until the last 5 seconds before her portrait when she rubbed her eye. The cheap make-up made a mess. I have learned my lesson and will splurge on the good stuff for the show. I am showing you a picture of the completed make-up before we left and after we got home. You can see the one eye is smudged off and her hair is not as neat. Oh, and removing it took almost as long!
