In the midst of our regular busy schedule, we have been planning and booking our camping itinerary. So exciting! In fact, our entire summer is scheduled without a dull moment. I registered the kids in two community VBS', soccer camp, basketball camp, our own VBS and four weeks of camping plus a free 'park and play' day camp that the city runs. Also in there is a wedding Steve is doing and a visit from my mom (who will come camping with us!)
Without going into too many details, our camping excursions will involve... mountains, hotsprings, dinosaurs and badlands. Not to mention hiking, biking, swimming and the best thing ever, toasted marshmallows and sunflower seeds around the glowing campfire.
And, if I can get everyone to cooperate, we may even get a sing-song going around the fire. I won't hold my breath on that one!

Did I tell you most Albertans leave Alberta in the summer? Yup, they do. Why? Because snow and camping is yucky...
