JULY....YIKES!

July already!

Got home yesterday after a busy weekend in Red Deer. Between Steve's responsibilities and my own we were pretty busy with kids in tow until their drop-off time. It took some orchestrating but we managed...phew!

While there, I ran into an old dear friend. She lives in my city and we hardly connect. Sad really. We made another attempt to get together. Hopefully this time it happens.

Now I am chillaxin' with a good cup of Kicking Horse coffee in the silence, catching my breath. Our kids are in a VBS at the church down the street this week. I will have my mornings to get work and planning done for our own VBS coming up in August.

We promised the kids we would take them out this weekend to go camping. We haven't had a chance to use our trailer yet and are really looking forward to it. It means we'll miss Stampede again, ah well, the quiet wilderness is a good exchange and something we've all been waiting for, for a very long time.

Monday begins our first bit of vacation. Yes! More camping? Of course!

Friday and Saturday we will be busy with the wedding Steve is conducting. My mom arrives from the East coast (oh how I miss the ocean's roar...sigh!) on Sunday. She hasn't seen the kids in over a year. On Monday we head out again for another week of camping. Oh, you can be sure I'll have plenty of pictures to share when we get back.

I have an hour before picking up the kids. Then, I am pretty sure we are hanging out at the beach this afternoon.
