I couldn't tell you have many times I have heard people doubt the presence of God (including me). The same questions and conversations come up on a regular basis..."where is God?"..."I don't feel his presence"..."I don't know what he wants for me"..."He doesn't speak"...."He is absent."
While I fully understand why we have these thoughts, I think our perception of God and his whereabouts can be a bit off.
God is always present and he is everywhere. At the office, and the night club, in the home on the street. Not only is he everywhere, he often speaks. ...even when we think he doesn't. I guess the key is being tight with him so we recognize, hear and respond.
Let's not mistake our numbness for his absence.

Ditto that!
"Let's not mistake our numbness for his absence."
Amen.
So true...it is def not enough to hear His voice, but we need to be able to know that it is actually Him!
Amen!
