- We just finished up our third of four weeks vacation
- We thought we might end up at home for the long weekend
- the campground we reserved at, lost our confirmation and didn't have us in
- to make a long story short (oh and it is long and adventurous!) we left
- we headed to several "first come first serve" campgrounds between there and home and everything was full.
- We ended up home at 10pm (Thurs) after leaving at noon with three disappointed kids and $70 of burned gas!
- Put the kids to bed and scouted out campgrounds on the internet.
- Red Lodge Provincial Park looked awesome, with 100 first come first serve campsites. We got up headed straight there and got the very last spot! Phew!
- It was a fantastic weekend even though the first night was terribly cold and rainy.
- We taught the kids how to play crazy eights.
- Now they are hooked
- besides the minor daily hiccups, the kids are getting along really well this summer
- Having every week planned and scheduled has helped us enjoy our summer all the more
- this week the boys are in soccer camp
- we head out for our last camping trip on Sunday evening.
- Back to beautiful Kananaskis country.
- Camping really slows us down
- Still can't believe we have a trailer
- Only four weeks left till school starts. Ho-lee!

COld?! Wow. I can't imagine. Hope you've really enjoyed your vacation time.
I would love to have a trailer or camper some day. I think my son would love it!
Glad you are having a great time!
Miss you guys and the great adventures we had!-Mom
so, what's julia doing while the boys play soccer?
Mara,
Miss seeing you.
Sweet of you to think of Julia. She is kicking around with us this week while we work. Boring for her and hard for us to get a heck of a lot done!
