The countdown is on to the bountiful feast on Thanksgiving!
The decorations are up.
The turkey is thawing in the fridge.
The bread is drying for the stuffing.
The cranberry sauce is being made.
The neighbours are making pies.
The kids have been prepped on table manners !
I can't wait. I love Thanksgiving.
Monday morn while I am busy cooking in the kitchen and getting ready for company, a group of 'turkeys' will be chasing a football out on the field.

Last night we were talking about last thanksgiving when Julia was under the table and shouting 'cry out to Jesus'!! May you have a wonderful weekend celebrating with your family and friends!

Hope ya'll have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We still have over a month before we celebrate it.
We had our family dinner yesturday. The youth are coming over this afternoon for football, but I'm not feeding them turkey! they are getting chili and lots of it. Of course when the plans were made, we were counting on fall weather not temps in the twenties. Oh well!
