Now that Halloween is over, I have to think about the next big event for our family. It finally sunk in yesterday that my daughter's birthday is in less than two weeks. Yeah, I better start thinking about that....

My to-do list has grown arms and has reached up to strangle me.

I am adjusting to my new glasses today. I hope it is normal for my eyes to feel 'funny' 'cause the temptation is to just take them off.

Christmas is coming. I want to decorate early this year but first I have to de-halloween. And I can't de-halloween until the snow is gone and my stuff is all dried out. We also can't climb on the roof to put up the lights until the ice is gone. I know it will happen. I know it will warm up soon, it just has to!

Well I am off to do the supper thing, the homework and reading. Then a hockey game to attend. And, when it is all said and done, I will sit down and make birthday invitations for Julia's party and maybe start some planning while I'm at it.

Oh, and did you know that the single most important reason you exist is simply to know God? I find a lot of freedom in that knowledge.

I have de-halloweened, but am now doing the big clean before all of the Christmas stuff comes out. I usually start with the garlands and lights in the windows and the boughs outside after November 11th. The rest waits until the first of december.
"Oh, and did you know that the single most important reason you exist is simply to know God? I find a lot of freedom in that knowledge." What a great reminder...
your plate is full!
Have a good weekend!
