Natural Talent?

Yesterday my neighbour friend called me. Our houses are pretty close together. Her kitchen wall happens to face the side of our house where Jacob's drums are kept. If she is around, she can hear him when he plays.

On the phone she told me when she went to get a cup of coffee she could hear the sound of drums. She was 'struck' by the quality of sound, poured her coffee and sat down to listen. She had to call and see if it was indeed Jacob playing and if so, to tell him how good he is. Amazing!

It was Jacob. He is good, a natural really. I love to hear positive reports, such a boost.

The kid is 9 years old.

I am so blessed (and thankfully so) , that I am able to give my kids opportunities to explore and develop their gifts and passions. In the words of master card, it is "priceless."

You are indeed blessed. You have three beautiful, talented, bright and precious children and I am not one bit biased. Give them all a big kiss for me-Grandma
