Weekends

There won't be any smoke machines but I do have snow and a house full of kids. What is it with kids and sleepovers anyway? I am hosting another one tonight for the boys. Sometimes I really don't want the bother or inconvenience but I want my home to always be open and welcoming to friends of the kids. So I do it anyway.

Tonight is make your own pizza for supper night. Mmmm. Of course even though it is make your own, it requires enough adult supervision that I might as well just make them myself...na.

I'm due for a new book to read. The problem is I have soooo many on the shelf to get to. So many treasures, so many lessons to learn, so much enlightenment, insight and encouragement to gain. Not exaggerating. We have countless books and a lot of recent ones pertaining to the new direction we are taking. I get so overwhelmed, I never know which one to tackle first. I often end up with a few on the go.

Then there is the pile of 'just for fun' books. I usually like to reserve these for summer while camping and soaking in th rays, but sometimes I just can't resist. They require less thought and attention which is required for other books. My reading time is usually at night when I don't have much of that so it is quite the dilema!

I've really got to get a book club up and running.
