PURITY

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." ~ Matthew 5:8

The quality of purity emphasizes the inner man...the motive...the 'heart'. Purity does not refer simply to doing the right things, but doing the right things for the right reason. Being free from duplicity, hypocrisy and/or sham. God desires His servants to be "real" people-authentic to the core. The portrait he paints is realistic.

Think about what it would mean, what changes you would have to make, what masks you would have to peel off, if you were to be pure. To be real.
