I am sitting here in our family room with a mess of gifts and wrappings, ribbons and tape. In the midst of my wrapping I received a phone call. The girl on the other end seemed very excited to be speaking with me yet I didn't know who it was. I hadn't heard her voice in years. When she asked if I knew who it was, I drew a blank and didn't guess for fear that I would be wrong. As she continued to talk I had a few names come to mind but still not sure enough to guess.
Then she told me her name and I was dumbfounded! I was way off. How surprising for me to hear from her. I am thrilled.
Get this: She found out last week that we are moving to Calgary. She tracked down our number, gave me a call and told me she lives in Calgary and can't wait to see me. What a surprise! We chatted for a while and decided that the last time we saw each other, or even spoke to each other was at my wedding, 10 1/2 years ago. How weird is that!
She proceeded to tell me that she is getting married next month and that her and her boyfriend are starting to look for a church. They don't go to church, have tried a couple but haven't found THE place yet.
"I have just the place for you!" I told her about the church we are going to and she said she would come to check it out.
God is moving, He is working and he is putting so many things into place, piece by piece.
I am hopeful for the future and can't wait to see what happens next!

Sounds to me like you and Steve have made the right decision.
