Whew!

This weekend included an all-afternoon /evening family Christmas dinner and Christmas Pageant at church. Jacob's birthday and party. 2 hours with 8 kids. Yikes! Swimming lessons. Recovery Program. An evening at "Build a Bear" with Jacob. Promiseland, hosting company and the preparations for an early Christmas assembly at school in the morning. It is almost over and I may even get to relax by Tuesday (my birthday!). Then it starts all over again on Thursday with another busy weekend. 'Tis the Season. I will admit, I am starting to wonder when I am going to get baking and shopping done. The cupboards are bare but no time to shop.

In case you didn't pick up on it, we were given the go-ahead to do a "real" Christmas assembly at school. We are doing it first thing in the morning. I have been privileged to be able to support the teachers by writing a reading and providing costumes. This is something to celebrate and the kids involved are very excited. I hope it goes well.
