Are we going about the Christian life wrong? Are we completely scattered in our minds living a frenzied 'spiritual life'? Sometimes I take a deep, raw look at my life and what I find often scares and shames me. Sometimes I find that I go about life in complete disregard for God. I am looking all around me and in the distance, searching for remedies to my troubles without consulting God.

Thankfully, I always seem to get reminders that while I am frantically looking around, his hand is upon my shoulder the entire time, waiting and wanting that I recognize him and trust. He is asking that I give up my frenzied state and rest in him.
