Consider the Options

Even on days like today when all of my kids are over-tired, cranky and I'm completely frustrated, they still manage to make me laugh....

I decided to let the boys go off on their bikes by themselves to the playground behind our house. Joel was going to the garage to put his helmet on and get ready to go when he gave me a hug. I knelt down beside him and went over the rules.

"Joel, stay with your brother at all times. Do not go off on your own and whatever you do, don't go with any strangers."

Joel was just about to respond with what I wanted to hear but then, as if a light bulb went on in his head he said, "what if they offer me money?"
