The first day back to school went smoothly, even with time to spare! Lunches made, warm cooked breakfast, dog walked, clothes on, teeth brushed and still time...beautiful! Teamwork makes it happen.
The boys were excited to be going back. We changed their bus this year and I hope it is a better experience for all of us. Joel had the same bus driver as last year for kindergarten so he was relieved when he saw her. The stop is closer, less kids, and smaller kids, thank God.
Joel is a little anxious about math thinking now that he is in grade 1 he needs to go there knowing it all.

It is bitter-sweet for me, but today I'm choosing sweet. So much to do and accomplish today and in the next few days. A lot of my work has been put on hold while the kids have been off school. One of those things put on hold has been the gym. Oh I am so hitting the gym today and setting goals to get rid of all unwanted cargo!
I can't wait to hear how their day went. I put little notes in their lunches and bought some special snacks, and, and,.....

You are my hero.
Yikes, my first day is tomorrow and I don't think mine will go nearly as smoothly as it did in your house...and it's just me I have to take care of! Okay, that's a scary thought...just me:(
Nav,
That reminds me of a little song...
"I'm all alone, there's no one here beside me..." From Shrek!
Anyway girl, you will be fine and dandy. Miss you around here.
revswife,
I am humbled, but there is no hero here.
Cute Kids, too bad about the hats.
- Peace
Dave
