Beauty Shop

After it's all said and done on a Sunday evening we like to unwind by putting our feet up and enjoying a movie. Last night it was "Beauty Shop" and I must say, I enjoyed every moment of it. It was one of those movies that I didn't want to end. Of course we are fans of The Queen, so anything she does, we like.

Not only was it entertaining for me, it was a picture of survival and community. It is an example of how the lines can be blurred between work, family and friends to create one strong community. A community that serves each other, rolls up its sleeves to help each other with the hard work and of course a community that has lots of fun together.

The community wasn't strong in the bgeinning and a few 'sour apples' had to be removed before it could flourish.

Others who watched it may just say that it is a story where everyone likes to speak their minds and is more concerned with that than with getting their hair done.

Either way, I thought it was great!
