Searching for Brains

It's been a full and productive day for all of us. The boys were off of school today and we've been out most of the day.

Anyway, they are enjoying a little down time before swimming lessons, while mommy dearest is preparing a scrumptious supper! They are watching the Wizard of OZ...classic. Believe it or not I have never seen this movie from beginning to end (I'll put it on my 'to do' list). This time I did happen to catch the scene where Dorothy encounters the scarecrow. He tells her he is in search for a brain. She looks startled and asks, "How can you talk if you don't have a brain?" He looks even more confused and replies, "Well I don't know." Then he follows up by saying something rather wise for a man with no brain..."many people talk a lot who have no brains." (or something like that).

The kids continue to stare unmoved at the screen while I laugh out loud. Sorry, that struck me funny....so true!

Too true too true. MANY people are jabbering away without a thing upstairs. My Steve has never seen the movie either ... I don't think.
