Thursday Thirteen

Yes, I know it is Friday. I was working on this last night, took a break to put kids to bed and fell asleep until today, Friday.

I got this idea from Sleeping Mommy and thought I would share thirteen things that were on my mind yesterday.

What Leslie is/was thinking (in no particular order)...

1. "Wow, sitting in this dentist chair while she scraped my teeth was rather relaxing until she shoved these over sized foam trays in my mouth, full of flouride foam that is seeping out, giving me a frothy moustache worse than a foamy latte at Starbucks and burning my upper lip!! I can only imagine how gorgeous I look right now!"

2. "Am I gonna find someone to adopt my cat?"

3. "New life is so beautiful, fresh and delicate." (I visited a newborn today). SCRUMPTIOUS!

4. "I value my friends and enjoy spending time with them".

5. "I really appreciate Steve and how he picks up my slack around the house when I'm feeling tired, sick or just plain lazy. It is definitely a partnership. He is also sensitive to my needs. I value him."

6. "Can't wait to meet the boys' teachers tomorrow (today). I wonder how our interview will go".

7. "Wish I were better equipped to do my job."

8. "It would have been cool to be at West Edmonton Mall to see Brad and Angelina in real life".

9. " Ralph Klein is exciting a lot of people (including me) by sending us cheques (even though we give him a lot more cheques, ha!)"

10. "Vacuum cleaner salesmen are persistant, invade your home when you open the door, don't take 'no' for an answer and are disappointed when you won't drop $2300.00 on the spot, especially when Ralph is sending you a cheque....hello?"

11. "How can I give the most practical support to those who need it?"

12. "It is without a doubt a WOMENS (North American) WORLD. From marketing and sales, to support from the social system, from the majority of female drivers, from the magazine racks, the cosmetic counters and the triple amount of space in the catalogue and dept. stores."

13. "My puppy stinks (like dog) and I think I may have to come to terms with that fact."

There you have it! Obviously these weren't my ONLY thoughts in one day...boy would I be in trouble. They are just the ones I chose to share with you!
