Contrary to the title, we had a great time tonight. Trick-or-Treating is always so much fun. I love experiencing the excitement of the kids running from door to door, using their manners, reporting on their goodies and squeling, "I love Halloween!"
Our cul-de-sac was disappointing....boo! Out of the 13 or so houses, only 4 had lights on to participate in the festivities. The other cul-de-sacs on our street were all lit up and hoppin'. I did however, manage to get rid of all our candy, maybe 30 kids not sure, I was generous in giving the stuff out.

most of my neighbors were shelling out, we just didn't seem to have any kids around. i did promise my son all the leftovers, cuz he was at hockey, so he's pretty happy about the way things turned after in the end.
Well, kids always love the generous handouts! And I'm glad you had a great time passing it out!
Hey, your neighbourhoods are the best ones for the kids to hit, for the excellent loot I mean! We had 200 kids and I rationed it well, without being a "bahumbug" chick myself. Good times!
Sorry i have not been by in eons.....i am a big slacker these days:) Glad halloween was fun and safe around your place.
