If you follow this blog, you will know that I am sharing some pictures and highlights of my life. As it turns out, most things that I would consider 'highlights' worth sharing were not captured on digital camera ( graduation, wedding, babies birth, living in Bermuda, etc).
Anyway, one of the greatest highlights of my entire life, I am able to share... NYC LESLIEPALOOZA. A couple of years ago Steve secretly worked for an entire year on making one of my dreams come true. He planned and saved and booked and organized a trip to New York City (and at Christmas time yee-haw!) for our tenth anniversary!
We spent 4-5 days there and my vocabulary is too limited to illustrate verbally how incredible the experience was. We were going non-stop on the subway to all the hot spots (in my books anyway)... Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Saks 5th Avenue, Macy's on 34th, The Plaza Hotel (Home ALone 2) , Central Park (carriage ride), Madison Square Gardens (NY Rangers game), Broadway Show, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, the Guggenheim Museum and Radio City Music Hall (Christmas Spectacular).
Interesting enough I felt completely at home there. It was one of those, "this is where I belong" type of feelings.
Obviously, I cannot share all 100 pics. I will avoid showing you buildings that you see in movies all the time. Please forgive the fact that most of the pictures are of me, it was just the two of us and that's how it turned out..."get a picture of me here and here and there..."
All I can say is there is nothing like NYC at Christmas.
This was one of the greatest highlights of my entire life and I'm glad I could share it with you!
