I remember watching the Goonies when I was a kid. I remember loving it, but nothing more than that, not even the story line.
Joel and I went to Blockbuster to rent a family-friendly movie on the weekend. The movie we wanted wasn't there. Pretty much everything was out and that's when I spotted the Goonies. I had high hopes of them liking it as much as I did when I was a kid. I made a mistake. After 20 mins. or so we had to turn it off. Not only was it too scary, the vocab was not age-appropriate.
I guess it has been so long since I was a kid I couldn't remember what age I actually was when I saw it. Oh well, we played Sponge Bob LIFE instead and had way more fun. WHen the kids went to bed, I finished watching the Goonies. Just as great as I remembered! :)

Brown is my new favorite colour to wear.
Big game tonight. I am really not into hockey, so after the first period, I'll be busy doing other things.
Summer vay-cay is so close, I can almost taste it...YUM!

I too loved the Goonies when I was a kid...does it really have that much language in it? I really can't remember.
I couldn't remember either. And no, for older kids the language is tolerable but my kids were too young just yet.
brown is the new . . . whatever the last great colour was. i think it flatters every skin/hair colour!
Wow, I haven't seen the Goonies in forever. Now I have to rent it, too. I'm glad that when you watched it again it was just as good as you remembered it. I made that mistake watching the old movie of Narnia. I should have just let it be as it was :) I love the website! How did you get that background for your blog? Keep on bloggin!
