We broke up our vacation last week for the wedding Steve was performing this weekend. After unpacking from camping, we were busy with wedding stuff, rehearsal, family BBQ, ceremony, reception etc.
We don't really know the couple other than leading them through the marriage prep classes. It is amazing how quickly you can get to know people in a weekend though.
The ceremony was beautiful, as they usually are. The kids were waiting on the edge of their seats for 'the kiss'. For the reception they thought of everything and were mindful of the kids (which I really appreciated). Not only did they have a place reserved for us, the kids each got loot bags as their table favors!!!! Kept them busy and interested. Anyone out there getting married, that is a great thing to keep in mind. The parents in the crowd will love you for it :)
Today is, clean through the house day before my mom arrives from the east coast. After that, we'll be vacationing.

The last wedding I went to had treat bags for the kids...such a great idea!
Sure wish I had thought of that!! What a great idea!!
