Look out weekend cause here I come.....
Yes that's right, starting the weekend off with a bang listening to the boom of the BEPs.
I am off for the weekend for some training to get all smart and stuff. I am hoping to be back in time for my son's very first official league hockey game on Sunday afternoon!
Speaking of smart (looking)...after twenty-two years, I need glasses again! I think I am still in disbelief because every time I went to get checked they always said I didn't need them. I guess that is one more sign of aging (hee hee). --wait--that's not funny!
Thankfully I know friends in high places and my friend at the vision centre hooked me up with some stylin' specs!
On the way home yesterday...
Me: "sweetie I'm going to take you to the eye Dr.to get your eyes checked."
Julia: "why"
Me: "Just for a visit, to make sure everything is okay and to see if you need glasses."
Julia: "I don't need glasses! I can see everysing!!!"

For years I gave Gary a hard time about taking his glasses off to read...so, two years ago the doctor tells him he can continue to take them off to read, me, on the other hand was told to either get two separate pairs of glasses or progressives (fancy bi-focals). I decided to go with the bi-focals. Allison had her eyes examined yesterday and was embarassed that she couldn't see the letters - reading glasses have been ordered! Just a part of life...there are worst things to stress about and guess what, 'now you will be able to see everysing!'
