Finished the last of three birthday parties for another year. This was the first one ever that I did outside the home. It was so worth it, and Happy Feet was a great movie!

We reserved our gift for Jacob until his actual birthday wich is in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to give it to him. We've had it for a long time and it is something he really wants.

Went to see Joel's hockey game yesterday afternoon. His games are so fun to watch. They play the music and blow the horn and the crowds cheer, awesome! I'm actually learning more about the rules of the sport. They are teaching them positions now and rotating all players. Joel played defense for the first time yesterday. He eventually got the hang of it but didn't like it too much. He would much rather play forward.

Home Alone (actually like 2 better) is my all time favourite Christmas movie. It happens to be on tonight. I've been feeling pretty crappy today, I think the flu bug is knocking on my door. So I'm crawling into jammies, drinking something hot and laying on the couch. Good thing the lunches are all made and the kitchen is cleaned up, I'm now officially off-duty.
