Old Ladies

Today Jacob asked for some money to buy an eraser at the book fair tomorrow. I protested saying there are lots of erasers around here and we didn't need to buy any. He became very frustrated and said that "no", he didn't have an eraser at school. He also said that everyday during science he gets up, walks around looking for an eraser to borrow. When he does this however his science teacher gets on his case and says, "what are you doing out of your seat?" "Jacob get to work" "Jacob sit down" . He of course doesn't like this and said "Ughh she's so mean. so rude"

Joel, who is bouncing a ball around the room during this whole conversation pipes in and says in response..."well, what do you expect? That's how old ladies are."

Not entirely sure where is perception comes from. My guess is he has been given the same 'tone' from his teacher who happens to be a little 'older' :)
