We have been getting a lot of fun mail these days. When you have a birthday in the same month as Christmas, you get a downpour of blessings! Today we received two boxes filled with wrapped delights. I let the kids put them under the tree right away, they are good about not picking at them.

Jacob has accumulated quite the birthday stash so far. The only thing he wants to do with his money is get his ear pierced!!--No further comments.

I am not doing too shabby on the birthday front myself. When my mom was here in July, she was very proactive and brought me a few wrapped gifts to put away for my birthday. Which I did and I see them every time I walk into my closet. However, she forgot she did that and sent me another present (hee hee). I must say, I am a little anxious to open them. One more week! It would be nice to have a sitter and go out for the night but still not sure about that.
