I just got back from running a couple of errands, ones I like (they involve shopping!) I had to go to the scrapbooking/stamping store and pick up a few things for an upcoming ladies event. So I'm in there looking around, sizing things up and enjoying myself the whole time. After a little while, I noticed that the sales associate was, get this...a man! Not to be sexist or anything, but I have never seen a man in these parts before and have never heard of a man scrapbooking or stamping before. Maybe he and his wife do it together as a hobby, who knows. He said he finds it very enjoyable! Anyway he knew his stuff and was able to direct me to where I needed to find this and that and told me of the half price embossing powders.
Odd.
Then, after having a lunch date at the mall I thought I would take a few minutes and look for something I've been needing. I ended up in Sirens (which I never shop at). It is very young-y, trend-y, tack-y, club-y type clothes. I was bombarded with feathers and sequins! Believe it or not, I found what I was looking for in a matter of minutes and it was only $10. I made my way to the check-out and was a little shocked at the customer in front of me. There stood an elderly, slouched over lady with her elderly husband waiting off to the side. What the? What is going on today? As she was making her purchase, 50 cent was blaring through the roof, singing his dirty diddy "Candy Shop" in the background.
What were they doing in there? What could they possibly be buying?
Odd.

i find that when i shop, sometimes it's a good idea to go into stores you normally don't go into, cuz you just never know. it sounds like a store for all those hoochie mamas;)
maybe the old couple was trying to spice things up. lol
EWWWWW!
welcome back Lauren, sorry nothing special for me. But ironic enough, I thought of you when I was in there (in a good way). You said you liked big chunky jewewlry and they had some pretty awesome stuff.
