Yesterday was our anniversary. It was also church and then small group in the late afternoon. While busy cleaning up and getting ready, a mysterious carload of really cool people drove up by our house. One guy ran to the door, put a cake in Steve's hand and then took off again. I however, was unaware of these events and when I came downstairs I saw a cake on the counter and thought Steve had purchased it while he was out, laughing at the inscription.
Eventually I figured out who I should thank for the fun surprise. I am figuring her, and her and maybe him but I am not totally sure. All I know is he dropped it of!
Thanks for thinking of us guys, you made me laugh!
What really added fuel to the laughter was the fact that I had baked a cake for small group thinking there would be no dessert, then this one was dropped off, then the rest of the small group also brought an anniversary cake! A big thank you goes out to our small group for thinking of us and being with us yesterday!
